Michael Egnor stressed the importance of communicating reflections on the findings of neuroscience in a way that is accessible to the public
Host Kiki Latimer: It’s uh I what one of the things I love about it, it’s really written for the lay person. you know, it’s it’s you have [4:45] stories in it. And yet you really dig into the science of it as well. It’s just a great balance. Michael Egnor: That really was a [4:57] fundamental goal of ours. We really want to communicate to people who are not specialists in this field either, you know, professional philosophers or professional scientists.
It’s about what we’ve have found in the science and in the everyday clinical practice of neurosurgery and in philosophical reflection on what all this means. So it was very important to us to communicate these ideas in ways that are accessible to people.
